Charitable Incorporated Organization
The Community Trust was set up with the aims of providing community recreational facilities for the people of Little Melton when the new Village Hall was built in 1990.
Community Cafe
Every third Wednesday of the month, you are invited to come to Little Melton's Community Cafe. It takes place in the Village Hall, between 2pm and 4pm, and offers a fine selection of homemade cakes as well as tea and coffee. See below for current dates. There are also books and jigsaws to take home to read and you are welcome to bring along any books and jiogsaws that you are willing to pass on to others.
Friends of Little Melton Church
The Friends were formed in 1999 with the aim of raising funds to preserve this beautiful 14th Century building, a legacy to all in the village. To date, over £60,000 has been generated and spent on many projects; the renovation of wall paintings; the restoration of all the windows and repairs to the roof and tower. Membership is by annual or monthly donation with no specific limit so all funds can be gift aided if possible.
Hethersett and District Aid in Sickness Fund
The charity has been in operation for many years, and was previously known as the Hethersett Nursing Association. It continues with its work meeting needs through financial assistance in Hethersett, Ketteringham and Little Melton.
Little Poppets
Little Poppets is a stay and play group for 0-5 year olds meeting every Monday during term time.
Probus Club
The Club’s membership is open to retired or semi-retired professional and businessmen aged 60 or over, resident in Wymondham and District. At present over 50% of members live within, or close to, Hethersett.
