Garry Wheatley has resigned from the Parish Council,  we thank him for his services to the Parish and to the wider area.  Garry was a South Norfolk councillor for many years and has a long history of public service, including being Mayor of Norwich!

We are pleased to say that Ricky Wallsworth has offered his services and that he will be co opted at the PC Meeting on Jan 17th - unless anyone requests an election as per the notice below.   If anyone else wishes to help the PC or the Village Hall group then please get in touch - there are plenty of things that we need help with!

PARISH OF LITTLE MELTON

Notice is hereby given:

• (1) A casual vacancy in the office of Parish Councillor exists in the above Parish.

• (2) An election by ballot according to the Election Rules will be held if a request in writing to that effect, signed by ten local government electors for the electoral area, is delivered to The Managing Director, Broadland and South Norfolk Councils, Thorpe Lodge, 1 Yarmouth Road, Thorpe St. Andrew, Norwich, NR7 ODU not later than Thursday 6 January 2022.

• (3) If an election is not requested, the Parish Council will fill this vacancy by co-option.
