At least 12 people have reported problems with car remote
locking in Little Melton over the previous week. We suspect that
some form of Radio transmission is to blame. If you
get a problem please keep a note of the PostCode, Date and
Time and email the information to
chair@little-melton.org.uk or by hand to the Clerk at
Habitat, Braymeadow Lane.
We will then try to identify the
source of the interference. You are advised to make sure that the battery in your key is
less than two years old and to read the car manual so that
you know how to turn off the alarm with the ordinary key.
If you have problems with unlocking then try holding the key
near to the car windows at different sides of the car.
